Today is Valentine's Day. I love Valentine's Day. Why? Because it is a reminder of the amazing love my Savior has for me, the unsurpassable love that will never equal that of any man.
"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God..." -1 John 3:1
It's easy to be discouraged as each Valentine's Day passes and I remain single, but the gift of God's Son dying in my place is far better than some roses and a nice card. We are the bride of Christ and having the hope that we will one day join Him and experience his love in His kingdom is what this day should be all about. Praise Jesus!
